Administration of IBM WebSphere DataPower SOA Appliances

In this 3-day instructor-led course, you will learn how to perform system administration tasks for the IBM WebSphere DataPower SOA appliances.

The IBM WebSphere DataPower SOA Appliances allow users to simplify, accelerate, and enhance the security capabilities of Extensible Markup Language (XML) and Web services deployments, and extend the capabilities of a service-oriented architecture (SOA) infrastructure.

Through a combination of instructor-led lectures and hands-on lab exercises, you will learn how to perform various administrative procedures, from initial installation and setup through ongoing maintenance of the appliances in production. Students learn about the available management interfaces such as the command line interface (CLI), Web GUI, and the XML Management Interface, and how to use these interfaces to perform various administrative tasks such as upgrading firmware, monitoring system performance, configuring user accounts and domains, and much more.
