Statistical Methods for Healthcare Research

The first day of this course is for new users of SPSS Statistics. You will learn the basics of SPSS Statistics required for the following days of training. The subsequent days of training will take you through the practical aspects of statistical analysis. You will learn the concepts behind inferential statistics and what techniques are appropriate for various situations. You will use statistical methods to investigate differences in group averages and between profiles of responses across different categories. Both parametric and non-parametric tests are covered in the course. Learn how to use the windows based interface to easily access, manage, and merge data files, and develop effective skills for efficient data preparation.Using the intuitive graphic user interface, learn how to quickly and easily set up and run a variety of both descriptive and predictive analyses. Effectively display the results of your analyses using tables and charts, easily produced in publication quality visualizations.This course uses the SPSS Statistics Base, ANOVA.
